Subscriptions
Payments are processed by Apple or Google. To change or cancel a subscription, open your subscriptions in the App Store or on Google Play. Cancelling stops future renewals.
Bought a plan on another device, or reinstalled the app? Open the membership screen in Teta and tap Restore Purchases. Paid plans have no ads.

Frequently Asked Questions
I can't sign in, or I forgot my password
Check that your email address is spelled correctly and that your device is online. If you forgot your password, email us from the address you signed up with and we'll send you a link to reset it. Teta uses the same account as our other Buddy apps, so the same email and password work in all of them.
Do I have to use the AI assistant?
No. Before the first AI request, Teta asks for your permission. If you decline, the AI features stay off and the rest of the app keeps working. If you allow it, what you type, say or photograph — plus your items, shopping lists, recipes, reminders and the rules Teta has learned — is sent to Google's Gemini API so the assistant can answer.
What are the rules Teta learns?
When you correct the assistant, Teta learns a rule from your correction and includes it when the assistant answers later. Learned rules stay in your account until you delete your account.
Who can see a shared pantry?
Its members. People join a shared pantry by email invitation, and the pantry keeps its members' names and the invitee's email address. If you delete your account, the shared pantry stays with its other members.
Why did a shopping trip show up in Moni Expense Tracker & Budget?
Teta shares one account and one database with our other Buddy apps, so content you create in one app can appear in the others. A shopping trip can create a transaction you'll see in Moni Expense Tracker & Budget, and shortcuts you teach one app can add items to another app's lists.
Does Teta look through my photo library?
No. Teta uses only the photos you take or choose.
Voice input doesn't work
Voice input uses your device's speech-to-text service from Apple or Google, so check that Teta is allowed to use the microphone in your device settings. Teta receives only the text — the audio is not uploaded. You can always type instead.
Why do I see ads?
The free plan shows ads from Google AdMob; paid plans have no ads. On iOS, Teta asks whether you allow tracking, and in the EEA and the UK Google's consent form is shown where required. Without consent, ads are non-personalised. You can change these choices in your device settings or consent settings. Our Privacy Policy explains what AdMob may collect.
Delete Your Account and Data
In the app
Open Settings, tap Delete account, and confirm. This deletes your account and its data across all our apps: Teta shares one account with Fenik AI To-Do List & Planner, Moni Expense Tracker & Budget, Owl Life Journal & Memories and Oakie Home Inventory & Resell, so your data in those apps is deleted too.
Without the app
Email contact@kaisoft.net from your account's email address, with the subject "Delete my account". We verify the request and delete your account and its data within 30 days.
A few things are not deleted:
- What you shared stays with the people you shared it with — for example, a shared pantry remains for its other members.
- Purchase and energy records needed for billing, tax or fraud prevention.
- Data held by Apple, Google, RevenueCat and AdMob, which follows their own policies.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — cancel it in the App Store or on Google Play first. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
