Fenik AI To-Do List & Planner Support

Check that your email address is spelled correctly and that your device is online. If you forgot your password, email us from the address you signed up with and we'll send you a link to reset it. Fenik uses the same account as our other Buddy apps, so the same email and password work in all of them.

No. Before the first AI request, Fenik asks for your permission. If you decline, the AI features stay off and the rest of the app keeps working. If you allow it, what you type, say or photograph — plus your tasks, reminders, a summary of your recent chat and, if you allowed calendar access, your upcoming calendar events — is sent to Google's Gemini API so the assistant can answer.

Calendar access is optional. If you allow it, Fenik reads the upcoming events on your device for the next 35 days — title, time, location, calendar name and meeting platform. When you ask the assistant something, those events are included in the request to Google Gemini. We don't store them. You can say no, or turn calendar access off later in your device settings.

Location is optional, and Fenik uses it only while the app is in use. Your coordinates are sent to BigDataCloud to look up the name of the place. For trips, Fenik may send the origin and destination to Google Maps Platform (Routes API) to estimate travel time.

Fenik shares one account and one database with our other Buddy apps, so content you create in one app can appear in the others. Finished tasks become diary entries in Owl Life Journal & Memories, and shortcuts you teach one app can add items to another app's lists.

Your command history — each command, the reply and the detected intent — is kept in your account, along with any custom aliases you create. Only if you opt in, Fenik also keeps fuller records of your AI interactions. Those are designed to expire after 180 days, and you can delete them at any time in Settings.

When you link with someone, the nickname and email on the link are visible to them. Reminders you share and task requests you send go to the people you link with. A task request you send stays in the recipient's inbox, even if you later delete your account.

Voice input uses your device's speech-to-text service from Apple or Google, so check that Fenik is allowed to use the microphone in your device settings. Fenik receives only the text — the audio is not uploaded. You can always type instead.

The free plan shows ads from Google AdMob; paid plans have no ads. On iOS, Fenik asks whether you allow tracking, and in the EEA and the UK Google's consent form is shown where required. Without consent, ads are non-personalised. You can change these choices in your device settings or consent settings. Our Privacy Policy explains what AdMob may collect.
