Subscriptions
Subscriptions are billed and renewed by Apple or Google. To change or cancel one, open your subscriptions in the App Store or on Google Play. Cancelling stops future renewals.
Bought a plan on another device, or reinstalled the app? Open Membership Plans and tap Restore purchases. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

I can't sign in, or I forgot my password
Check that your email address is spelled correctly and that your device is online. If you forgot your password, tap Forgot your password? under the sign-in button and we'll email you a reset link. If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder, or write to us from the address you signed up with.
The parts list from "Scan a box" is incomplete
The parts list is Oakie's suggestion based on your photo, not official data from the manufacturer. You can add, remove or rename any part before you save.
Search doesn't find my item
Try the words you used when you saved the item, or the name of the place where you stored it. You can also switch to the list view and browse by crate.
Why doesn't Oakie flag toys my children have outgrown?
Open Settings and add your children, with their dates of birth, under Your children. Oakie suggests passing a toy on only when the toy has an age range (Oakie estimates one when you scan the box) and every child in your home has grown past it — never while a younger sibling may still use it. Children's profiles are stored only on the device where you added them, so add them again on a new phone.
How accurate is the estimated value?
It is a starting point, worked out from the price you paid, the item's condition and how complete it is. AI price estimates are estimates too. Check recent sales of the same item before you set your price.
What can people in my Passing-on circle see?
Only the items you choose to pass on to them: the name, brand, category, a photo, your asking price, the condition, whether the box is included, how many parts are missing, the first line of your listing and your display name. They never see where things are stored, what you paid or your notes. Tap Remove from circle to end someone's access right away.
What is AI Energy?
Each AI action — scanning, asking Oakie a question, writing a listing — uses some energy. Your plan refills it, and you can top up at any time from Membership Plans. Everything in Oakie can also be entered by hand, without AI.
What happens when I mark something as sold?
If you also use the Moni app with the same account, the sale is recorded there as income automatically.
Where do the storage place suggestions come from?
If you use the Teta app with the same account, the storage places you named there appear as suggestions in Oakie, so you never type "hall closet" twice. Otherwise, just type your own.
Delete Your Account and Data
In the app
Open Settings (⚙️), tap Delete account at the bottom, and confirm with your password. This permanently deletes your account and the data in it — your items, photos, crates, Trash and the listings you passed on to your circle. Oakie shares one account with our other Buddy apps, so their data is deleted too. This cannot be undone.
Without the app
Email contact@kaisoft.net from the address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my account". We will delete your account and its data within 30 days and confirm by email.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — cancel it in the App Store or on Google Play first. The record of your purchases and AI energy transactions that we hold is deleted along with your account; Apple, Google and RevenueCat keep their own purchase records under their policies, as described in our Privacy Policy.
